The Portwest® FD95 S5 PU Safety Wellington is a CE certified boot that stands out from the competition. Made from PU, which makes it longer lasting (it doesn’t dry out over time) and more flexible than its rubber or PVC equivalent. The air bubble structure provides air circulation and helps to keep the wearer’s feet cool in summer time and warm during the cold winter months. Another benefit of the PU material in these boots is that it doesn’t absorb water. All of this makes the boots ideal for all kinds of weather and working conditions. It’s a boot you can rely on all year round.

A feature of the Portwest® S5 FD95 PU Safety Wellington boot is an energy absorbing seat region and outsole that is oil and fuel resistant. The boots are also 100% waterproof and leakproof, having an S5 rating. There is also a protective steel toecap and steel midsole. As an S5 boot, the midsole is resistant to penetration from sharp objects which makes them suitable for use in an environment where sharp material presents a floor hazard. These SRC-rated boots slip resistant and ideal for use on steel and ceramic surfaces where slipping is a particular hazard. The boots are also antistatic.

Put simply, the Portwest® S5 FD95 PU Safety Wellington boot is a fantastic all round safety wellington that will keep you warm, dry and safe in a variety of tough work environments, while remaining comfortable. The PU material makes them long lasting, so they’re one of the best safety boot investments you can make.

Available in sizes 39-48, these boots are part of the Portwest® Pro range, a premium selection of safety footwear. Why not call into our workwear and safety shops in Arklow, Co Wicklow, or Passage West, Cork, and explore our full Portwest® workwear range for yourself?
