The boots are also 100% waterproof and leakproof, having an S5 rating. There is also a protective steel toecap and steel midsole. As an S5 boot, the midsole is resistant to penetration from sharp objects which makes them suitable for use in an environment where sharp material presents a floor hazard. These SRC-rated boots slip resistant and ideal for use on steel and ceramic surfaces where slipping is a particular hazard. The boots are also antistatic.
